What insurance company offers the best health insurance?

I do not have health insurance. I will need to get it on my own. I have a Rx that needs filled every month. I don't smoke, Im 27 M and am in good shape. I would like to stay around/below $100 per month and I want the lowest deductible possible.

You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ? after I did.

Take care,
Casey
Look on the web for your state's Insurance Commission or Department of Insurance. They will have a list of all the health insurance companies licensed to work in your state and other helpful information about the companies. That may help you to choose.
How about $49.95 a month?

http://www.qualitymedicalcare.org

You will get medical, dental, vision, prescription, and chiropractic savings with this card.

Since the poster below is confused I need to add: This is a discount plan. No claim forms are EVER filed to the company itself so the statement that it rarely pays out makes no sense. As long as you see an approved provider (this is why I stated to make sure to check for availability) ANYTHING that your dentist/doctor does would receive a discount. The discounts range from 20-80% depending on what you are having done.
This is an alternative to insurance. If you are able to get a good plan that suits your needs through traditional insurance then I would recommend that; however, over 70% of American's are not in that boat and this is the solution.
Let me know if you have any questions about the program!
Thanks Sheree, but he said insurance, not some discount program that rarely pays the discounts it advertises. (see link)

Byron, You're asking for an awful lot - low deductible and low price. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it will be difficult, especially since it appears that you have a pre-existing condition. I don't know what it is, and I don't suggest you tell us here. Individual policies are generally medically underwritten and you may have a hard time finding coverage.

That being said, I suggest that you find a local, independent insurance agent who can help you find coverage and explain the coverage. They will help you find the coverage that best fits your needs. Don't fall for the discount programs, they are constantly being investigated and don't fair well.
I got a good one
