Refuge insurance?

i have some unclaimed insurance policys from my great grandmother from 1940 and i have tried to locate the insurance company who were at the time called refuge and their head office was in manchester. could anyone help me please as to where or whom i should speak to? thank you

The Refuge Assurance Building in Manchester is now the Palace Hotel. I don't know when Refuge moved out of that building but I think somewhere around 1948. Refuge then merged with another company and then both merged with Royal London.

It looks like they are now Royal London. Link below. You'd probably have to contact them.
