Anybody knows any insurance company who provides car insurance without signing one year contract ?
does anybody know any insurance company who provides car insurance without asking for one year term contract? i just needed for one month or so?
Most only require 6 months. I work for Allstate, and they only ask for 6 months. But, you could cancel your insurance at any time you like. The DMV howerver, will want proof that you have some sort of insurance on your vehicle or they will start charging you for each day of your lapse in coverage.

Best of luck to you.
I am going to have to assume that you aren't in the US. If you are, I have never heard of having to sign a contract with any insurance agency. Typically, you have a 6 month policy, but you are able to cancle at any time, and you will get a refund for the amount of the premium that you paid.
Have to agree with previous answer: prbably you arent from the US.
You can get a monthly car policy in Australia only from DOFIs (Direct Offshore Foreign Insurers);
You can get a periodical (=for short terms) policy in Ukraine from any insurer.
If you can provide more details about your location, maybe a more acurate answer can be provided to you.
MOST insurance companies will write for six months at a time, and a few will do three months - WHERE THE STATE ALLOWS IT. Each state insurance department says how long the minimum policy period is.
So, if no one will do it in your state, it's more likely because your state insurance department says one year is the shortest term.
You can ALWAYS buy the one year policy, and cancel it after the month or so.
