Insurance HELP!?

Due to a last minute phone call saying they were no longer able to provide us the insurance they quoted us. I am now hoping to get lucky and find some type or amusement / vendor's insurance. It is for a Foam ball target booth that is completely enclosed with netting. The company we were to get insurance from gave us a quote, then changed their minds and said we would need and additional $1,000 that just isn't in our budget. Is there any place I could get vendor's insurance by July 3rd? For a single event? Very last minute I know but we just got the call today. If anyone knows of a company that may be able to do something like this please let me know
thanks.

Well, I don't know what the initial quote was . . . I'm guessing, some green agent told you a couple hundred bucks, then when they went to market, they found out that no standard company would write it, which means the nonstandard market, which means $1000 minimum premium, plus tax & inspection fee.

Yes, an independent agent will be able to get coverage for you, however, the going rate is going to START at around $1200. Which, I'm guessing, is about what the existing quote is.

Anyway. Get on the horn, call around to 3-4 insurance agencies, and ask. Find out who's quoting with which companies, so they're not trying to duplicate each other's work.

I don't believe you can get this for $300 or $500, if that's what you're looking for.
